Space for Clarity — Supporting a Teen's Relationship with Her Belongings

This project involved helping a teenager who was overwhelmed by an excess of clothes and very limited storage space. Both she and her mother felt lost about how to manage it all. With patience and care, I implemented intuitive systems, folding techniques, and categorized organization that transformed the room into a more harmonious and functional space.

But beyond the visual improvement, the true impact was in helping her realize how much she already has. When we organize by category, it’s not just about finding things more easily — it’s about seeing clearly. Recognizing what’s already there can bring a sense of sufficiency and calm, reducing the constant urge to acquire more. This session became a gentle invitation to reconnect with her belongings, her space, and ultimately, herself.
